IIT Madras offers a unique 24-month Online MBA in Digital Maritime & Supply Chain, developed with the Department of Management Studies, Ocean Engineering and with Industry partnership with i-maritime Consultancy. Designed for global professionals, this program provides the skills to tackle modern maritime challenges with digital solutions, boosts marketability, and increases global job mobility. Programme Highlights

The Online MBA is a two-year postgraduate program offered in a blended mode with online and on-campus 6 immersion modules, providing flexibility to complete in up to four years. The program includes 900 hours of classroom sessions and project work, totalling 192 credits, with 36 credits per quarter over eight quarters.

It features sixe on-campus immersion modules typically lasting four to seven days. The curriculum equips participants with functional and organizational skills to excel in a dynamic business environment. Additionally, there is an option to earn a Post Graduate Diploma after the first year upon completing the required credits.

  • Program: Digital Maritime & Supply Chain MBA is a 2-year degree program (classes based on blended learning)
  • Eligibility: Working professionals with a minimum 2-year industry experience holding any bachelor’s degrees

  • Structure: 8 quarters (each with 12 weeks duration) – Total credits 192
  • Courses: 20 core courses and 12 electives out of 31 electives courses including 7 Projects Digital Transformational – overall 32 courses (6 credits each with total of 192 credits)
  • Projects Digital Transformational: Focus on integrating classroom Digital Technology learning with industry implementation
  • Faculty: Faculty members from Department of Management Studies and Ocean Engineering, other IITM faculty members and Industry experts from i-maritime consultancy– 40-60 percent industry input on selective courses

    Admission Criteria

    • Online IIT Madras Admission Test (IAT) designed for Online MBA or Valid CAT, GMAT or GRE Score within last 5 years
    • Final selection based on a personal interview for shortlisted candidates
    • IIT Madras Admission Test (IAT)
    • IIT Madras invites applications for the Online MBA program specializing in Maritime and Digital Supply Chain Management. The entrance Aptitude Test (IAT) for this program will be conducted online.
    • Key details of the IAT are as follows:
    • Duration: 90 minutes
    • Number of Questions: 45
    • Sections: Quantitative Aptitude | Analytical Reasoning
    • The format of the IAT will be similar to other management aptitude tests. Detailed instructions and guidelines for the online examination will be provided on the application portal.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with 60% in any discipline / CA/CS/ICWA with minimum of two years of full time work experience.
    • Working Professionals and Entrepreneurs with a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience, after completion of graduation, as on June 15, 2024.

    Pedagogy
